Can I run a staggered wheel set up on my 2010 s550 4matic?

Thanks, That will open up my search. You have me thinking 20" too, maybe. What are the disadvantages of 20" to 19". Will I lose ride quality, or have to ride more carefully?

Before I got the 20's I rode around a few weeks with the AirMatic on Sport and the 19". That turned out to be the difference in rim sizes. If you like the ride on Sport and 19", 20" on Comfort will feel no different. I actually put the 20's on Sport once in awhile when the mood strikes. Still rides like a cloud. AirMatic is in a league of its own.
I just ordered a build on a 2016 C300 to get AirMatic since so few are out on the lots. The C300 on AirMatic isn't quite the ride as the S Class but it totally transforms that little car.

Yep just asked them about the price for wheels only. Also wanted to make sure that "amg" logo is on them. I looked for oem tpms sensors and they are pricey. $326. But I guess it's cheaper than purchase at the dealer. I also like continental oem tire from my s63. They said that they can put the package together with those tires too for additional cost. Love these wheels

How much did they say for just the wheels? These are exactly what I want.

yea btw most of the tire shops want 3-400 for the sensors, I was able to get 4 new ones off ebay for like 75-80 for orig benz ones. I got the rims from one place the sensors from another and had a local tire place get me the tires and install them and the sensors at the same time. It came out to 3-400 cheaper than getting the package that they offered, plus I got the continental tires that I wanted.

I think I paid around 850 for the 4 rims. 850 for the 4 staggerd contis and about 80 for sensors. So I believe all in around $1800.

Ideally you'd want a square 19" set up in a rep at 45ish offsets.

This is only true of directional tires. Many tires are non-directional and wouldn't require the tires to come off the rims. But this would only apply to left to right rotation. Tire rotation shouldn't ever be needed as the tires should wear evenly from side to side if the suspension is properly aligned and tire pressure is consistent at all wheels. And obviously you would never be rotating front to back with a staggered setup. With 4matic, the tires should wear fairly evenly all around. With RWD, obviously the rears will wear out quicker as there will often be wheel spin, whether intentional or not.

Staggered cuts the rated tread life in half. I think RWD cars go through rears so often because the car is heavy and just the friction generated to move the car from a dead stop puts a lot of wear at the contact patch. On an AWD car that would be more evenly distributed.

S63/s65 20 inch replicas. With tires and tpms for $1300. Brand new killer deal with Yokohama advan tires. The guy needed money. Not my tire of choice but for this price is ok.
