How did i do?

I Just bought a used 2012 s550 from a private seller, it was a one owner (doctor passed away and I bought it from his wife) with 28,300 miles. No accidents, all original paint and all services were done at the dealer on time, I got all records for it. I even got the seller to pay for 180 point pre purchase inspection and smog check for $300 at the dealer. As you would expect nothing was wrong with the car considering the low mileage but the warranty was up so I wanted the peace of mind. Battery was just replaced before warranty was up.

All they mentioned was that all 4 tires needed to be replaced front brake pads only have 20% left and there is a tiny crack in the windshield that can be fixed. Cars interior is flawless... like new. Exterior 3 wheels have curb rash and on the back bumper passenger side there was a scrape about 6 inches that was touched up with black paint (this was most likely caused by their assistant because they had no idea about it) looks like a ten footer but not too bad. Car could use a light paint correction (its black on black).

MSRP for the car new was 120k so its fully loaded B&O sound, P2 Package, disctronic plus, sports package plus one, night vision, etc. They were asking 50k I ended up getting it for 43k cash after much negotiation.

What do you guys think? I feel like I got a deal but just thought I would get your input. Thanks in advance!

2019 S63 4Matic+, 2018 E400 Cabrio, wardens car.
Pricing on these cars tends to be regional. In the NW that car would have sold for 45K all day. I purchased a 2012 4matic in flawless condition with 26K miles last year for around 44K but it did not have all the options yours has. One thing I would highly recommend is a warranty. These cars will eat you alive with fixes that add no value to the car. Enjoy. It is a rapidly depreciating asset so I go out and enjoy mine every day.

A "Rapidly depreciating asset" is an understatement.

The car is a rwd and I'm located in los angeles, CA. Compared to everything else ive seen on the market this car would have gone for 49k at the dealer.

The real question is, are you happy with it or not? You could've been the first guy to pay +$100K with 0 miles or the last guy to pay $14K with 130K miles, but ultimately, you have to live with it.

Just go out drive it and put a smile on your face.

I'm definitely happy with the car and i know its a rapidly depreciating asset but knowing that i got a deal would make me feel better about it haha. But regardless i love the car its my third S-class and its the most equipped i've had. the features really are what make it amazing.

This is what i figured for a 2012 s550 with 60k+ miles and not as many features but then again i don't know what the market is like where you live but still sounds good!
