I'm so Confused! I brought the key home, rehooked the rear electronic modules.
The key fob responds, but says key isn't recognized.

Pulled this from another thread. Not sure how true?
"You should be able to program the key yourself by putting it in the ignition and rotating the key to the 1st position and let it sit for a couple of hours. Put the rear battery on a charger if you're worried about killing power.
The dash will say something like "Learning Key"... eventually the pairing will be complete and you can use the key as normal. I don't know if you have keyless go, but it works fine for that too.
I bought a new key from the dealer and did this procedure in my own garage and it works perfectly...."

I would guess the car has to be paired to the key, at the dealer. Call dealer in the AM and ask a tech.

It sure is! Engine, Tranny are great! No Electrical issues, Features and functions work. My suspension is working well too!
About two minutes after I turned it on my MIL popped. I think its because of all the crap inside the catalytic converters made it pop.
My battery is low. My driver side speaker is blown. My rear right tire is at 15psi. 15726 miles since last oil change so it needs one.

I'm going to get a trip permit and take it to Vlad's auto body Saturday morning.
I took the car on a second test drive and the MIL have vanished! Must have burned all the crud from the Cats.
Now I only have a battery low warning(does this mean I need to charge it or replace?), and a low air pressure warning for my tire.
ESP/ABS warning light was showing earlier due to the crud on the brakes/rotors. After a number of hard stops it stopped.
Anyone know the type of Aux. Battery we use? Does Walmart sell it? I need to replace it.
