Motor Mounts & Seat Belt Chime?

I just had the Motor Mounts replaced on my S550 @ The Dealership.
Took the Dealer 4 hours to do the job. I have a warranty so that was ok.
When I got the car back everything was fine but my seat belt warning chime & light
for the passenger started to go off, without anyone being in the seat. I looked on this form for some help and see this has happened to a few people, Dealer said bring the car back and it would be looked at but it would be my $ to have it fixed as the Motor Mount replacement has nothing to do with the seat belt chime going off ( my car just picked that time to act up I guess) anyway I was able to find the problem myself ( loose connection under the seat! ) I pushed all the connectors together as hard as I could ( without breaking them ) and now the seat belt light and chime are back to normal.
I just wanted to post this in case anyone else has this problem.

Now how did that (easily rectifiable at cost repair) connection get loose

My guess is that they may have disconnected the battery. Then to set adaptation for the seats, they ran them all the way forward and back, and the connectors came loose. So it was sort of related to their repair effort.

I was told the Starter Battery was disconnected when the motor mounts were replaced. The car does drive " softer" now in " c" mode. I just got lucky and found the problem under the seat.

it was nice here in Nova Scotia last night so I took the Merc out for a drive with the wife.
I was very happy that " my fix ' was still working..lol..We have only one Dealership for Mercedes Benz here in Nova Scotia, but we have lots of very good repair shops that are not afraid of the S550 and it's rep for problems. I find the car is quieter and a little bit smoother after getting the Motor Mounts replaced.

My motor and trans mounts were replaced a couple of months ago and it made a world of difference in the way the car behaves. The biggest difference is how much quieter the car is. And that was at only 33k miles on the odo.

My car has 142,000 kms on it and im not sure if it has had the mounts done before but I did look at the old mounts afterwards and they were collapsed. It sure does make the car quieter..
