I heard a cracking noise when I'm driving coming from my front passenger seat. What could be causing this noise?

That would likely be your passenger cracking their knuckles.

Dave, try to take new questions seriously. Passengers knuckles? Obviously the sound is caused by ghost farts. The car needs a basic exorcism. I apologize for Dave's conduct.

That ghost would have to have an abnormally tight sphincter in order to make a cracking noise. They usually make a whooshing noise when they fart.

Uh, I'm pretty sure the author of the SECOND HIGHEST NUMBER OF IRRELEVANT POSTS is not an expert on the rectal tone of poltergeists. With a sufficient accumulation of methane irrespective of the ghosts ghost-sphincter muscularity or lack thereof a variety of sonic characterizations are possible.

Since you only have half a dik, *****, and sphincter in working order, does the numb side take on any ghoulish characteristics? I bet you get some interesting tones, and have to assume you are talking from experience.

At Mayo last week the neurologists decided to test my **** wink. Thats where they jab your bunghole with a needle and if it reflexively slams shut. Left side, no wink. Right side winked though. But yeah, I'm pretty much a non stop fart machine since the surgery. A couple of days ago I accidentally played the opening bars of "The Star Spangled Banner".

Could be the seat things going off...and yes...seat things is a technical term.

Or a ghost.

I'm going with ghost.

It's not like you posted a video or audio of the noise. I think the helpful members here figured it out for you with nothing to really work with. You shouldn't just dismiss the excellent advice and observations by the very knowledgeable folks of this board who've told you exactly what your phantom noise is.

BTW, you were never really in.

Nice going Dave! You and your childish antics have just cost the forum another new member.

Meanwhile, there's one more S on the road possessed by a flatulent spirit-beast. I hope you are quite pleased with yourself.

Yeah, I'm feeling OK with the help that I offered. This was a tough one to diagnose and I think you and I offered precision advice to diagnose the source of the noise.

Above all, and I think this is so obvious it's redundant to even mention, is that we're here to help.
