So, hello 221 forum. I recently upgraded from a W140 (96 S420) to a CPO 13 S550. No idea where to mount my ezpass.

I swear, they are going to have him men after me.

Anyone else have this issue. I dread calling them.

Either to the immediate left of the rear view mirror or dead center on the bottom of the windshield there are 4"x 6" windows in the infrared tint.

To the left as I'm sitting in the car or to the left as I'm looking at the windshield from outside the car?

From in the car. If you park outside, and then look up thru the windshield you'll make out a faint dot pattern. Center the ezpass in there. Or if you use that location for a radar detector, put the ezpass down low in the other "window"

Many thanks again. I see the two spots on the windshield when I look from an angle. The manual shows a spot to the right of the mirror as well but I don't see it from the outside. Mounting the ezpass to the left of the mirror is right in my sight line and awful, as is all the way down. I tried it to the right and we'll see if it works. If not I'm going to ask for an exterior mount.

I actually move my pass unit from car to car, so I just pop it onto my dash beneath the rear view mirror and it works fine
