2007 S500
Good day to you all,
recently, I have bough a 2007 S500L Japanese specs, but it is a left hand side, Not a Japanese right hand side stearing. Only the specs are Japanese such as the navigation system and the radio, which I will change to our GCC-Dubai specs later one.
The problem is that the car does not include any usb hub. I checked the car in several places such as the glove box, but it does not seem that it includes it.
1- So, I would like to know what should I do to install or have a usb hub in my car & will it work normally or else?
Note: the car includes the SD card slot, but every time I switch on the car it will notify me that there is no SD card inserted although it is already inserted. Therefore, I have to remove it and reinserted, then it will work.
2-Any way to fix this so that I do not have to keep unplugging & inserting?
Thank you.

Out Of Control!!
Without extensive and expensive retrofits will you get a USB-----However first take the car to someone who knows the system and has the diagnostic tools to correct the current issues before you even think of a USB!!

The only way to get an external source is by installing the optional IPod kit, which is hard to find since its been out of production since 08-09. That would give you an IPod connection plus an aux-in.
A USB port being used for data needs an interface that knows what to do with a source once it's plugged in, for example recognize a storage device and index music files on the device. For 07-09, nobody's home.
Your car originally did not have an SD card reader. Instead, it stored files on a special PCMIA card. The SD adapter was available later as an aftermarket option. There may be a compatibility issue either with the SD card or the adapter itself.
