Can someone tell me why my rear end on my 2007 s550 won't go back down? I was traveling in shopping market parking lot when I hit a bump and all o a sudden my rear end raised up and now when I hit a bump my car goes into a violent shake. Can someone tell me why is this happening and why it wont go back to normal?

Airmatic issue, probably a bad shock in the rear.

Assuming there is no binding in the height sensor assembly, The shock internal dampening valve is blown.
