2013 S550 Rain Sensing Wiper Question
My rain sensing wiper is not sensing rain. Anyone know where to begin? Anyone has a fuse chart? It functions fine when I switch to constant speed but the intermittent speed 1 and 2 will not function. Any help will be appreciated.

Car still under warranty?
It's not likely the fuse. In order of common failures, it's normally the light sensor, then the controller, then rarely the glass (very rarely, but it happens). Have the car scanned, see what faults are present in the system. It won't necessarily show you a warning message if the rain-sense is disabled for whatever reason, but there can be fault codes.

Ah, not mystery. Your battery charged up. Next time when they malfunction hook up battery to a tender overnight and see if it solves the issue. If it does- you need a new battery.

If I leave mine in the rain sensing positing, the first notch, occasionaly they will do a phantom swiped for no reason in a nice sunny day. Dealer looked at it twice, said it's normal and the system isn't perfect. They told me to take it off standby and only turn them on when it starts to rain,.
