2013 s550 wont sync phone contacts
Feature was working flawlessly up until about a week ago when phone took an update.
Samsung android phone, 2013 s550.
Car recognized phone and can make and receive phone calls but cannot or will not download contact names via bluetooth. The command recognizes my prior call list for sent or received calls. Just no contact info.
Anyone else exerience this and how did you fix? Ive already had the car for get the phone and deleted the car from the phone and completed a new pairing process. Same end result.

I had the same problem after my S7 Android phone upgraded... However, there is a workaround, but it is a kluge and it is a one time thing.
Export your contacts to an external SD card. MUST BE IN .VCF format! Insert the card below the CD/DVD player. Select Add contacts to your phonebook. Select the internal SD card. Then the copied vCards ( .vcf contacts ) will be added to contacts within the command internal phonebook. That's it...
Note,
1. from time to time you may want to add just the new contacts whenever you get a few...
2. if your contacts are from MS Outlook, you must convert them into .vcf format on the SD card
