That's a really crappy policy if it is indeed a lifetime limit. On most warranty policies, the repairs are capped at book value of the car....and that's on a "per repair" basis. If you've already purchased the policy, you likely have the option to cancel it within 30 days to receive a full refund. If you don't have any other viable options, you can look at it this way: You paid $4k for the policy and it will likely pay out the full $10k in the time you have it....so you'd be $6k ahead. But the likelihood of repairs exceeding far north of $10k in 3 years on an AMG is very high.

Two things I don't like. First my side of the climate control tops out at 82F. Second the user programmable button isn't really.
Other than that.. This is a great car!

Low dust brake pads installed.
Shardals air filter kit installed.
Smartkey remote start kit with drone installed.
New spark plugs.
5K since last oil change. Has not used any oil!
Took a trip to SF and averaged 22 MPG for the 300 mile trip!

New plugs? Was that recommended? Or a different reason?

No I didn't buy the extended warranty. I think it was 5k and very limited.
I'm just about to hit 80k and it has been rock solid (besides the hose).

my indy said there are a ton of aftermarket parts avail for the 63 and it really won't cost much more to maintain than my previous E63 (2010)
love the W221 S63 best car i've owned overall and i'm getting ready to do ECU tune gives it almost 700HP

If you're so inclined, I'm sure many people on this forum would like to know how much it cost to run your old S63 for a few years. That engine note is certainly tempting me, but I get put off by imagining $1k brake rotors (as a start).

One 360.00 (all in) ABC HP hose and engine/trans oil/fluid changes.
Front rotors were newish when I bought and still eighty percent when I sold it.
Very reliable car.

2007 S600, 2007 Chrysler 300 SRT8, 2000 C5 Corvette, and 2017 Mustang GT, and just got a 2023 300C
So I bought a 2007 S600 55K miles with a warranty 2 1/2 years ago. It covered radiator, control arms (but not the alignment), engine mounts, an ESP control unit, and a valve block for the ABC. It did not cover the hoses for the ABC nor the serpentine belt nor the engine air filters. But nonetheless, this $5400 warranty (3 years/+50K) purchased at the time of the sale, has now paid about $6400. I still have 6 months and 30K miles to go but it is hard to figure out the logic of what they cover and what they don't. All my service is done by MB.
