I have W221 2006 that the transmission conductor plate developed a fault. After trying to have repaired without success, I bought a virgin plate, just needed coding.

The car is in the UK at my second home, I live in the USA. I usually just use a c3 Mux when working on it and older software 2012 (never need to usually do any online scn coding)

Just in case I had a problem, when leaving the USA, I bought a working c4 sd connect and 2 different hard drives with 2016-09 xentry and 2016-12, both were working fine when I left.

After spending hours trying to get the c3 to work online (I use a friends daimler login when doing scn coding), and getting xentry listener errors and no login screen etc. I figured the 2012 software was just too old (I read online that servers don't allow the older software online to do scn coding), so I gave up on the c3 and broke out the C4.

using either software, I keep getting sd connect mulitplexer error 2.503.9617. I did some searching on the forums and some say that xdos windows 7 xentry does not work on older cars. Does my W221 2006 come under this older car category??

I am totally stuck now, the plate is a TRP and part of drive authorization system, so the car won't even start, I have daimler login but cannot use it with any of my hardware/software. I do have the old plate but my abrites interface is still in the USA, if I had that here I could read the coding from that and transfer to the new one, not sure if that can be done in xentry.

I'd welcome any suggestion to solve this, different software version (perhaps xp) patch, will even buy a new mux if I have to, just need to get this car on on the road. If anyone can help fix via teamviewer, am happy to pay

there could be many things why your online coding doesnt work. i would look into obtaining scn string for offline coding. you might be better served on the mhauto forum (i am sure you are a member there- right?
