Road trip Boston-Detroit, all good but....

Boston-Hartford-Trumbull-Gettysburg-Philadelphia-State College-Pittsburgh-Columbus-Detroit with the gf. Nice hotels, great food, lots to do and see....but it is in a rent car (Ford Fusion) and my 2017 s550 is home in the garage.

Sigh, life is imperfect...but great

That's right, keep it new for the next owner

Hah! I am with you. Drive it. My Lexus had 155000 miles with 8 years of driving and I'd be driving it today if some tourist hadn't plowed into me while I was stopped at a stoplight.

My car philosophy is to buy new and drive it till you decide to give it to your kids (with six children and 8.5 grandsons the next owner of this Mercedes is likely a 10-year old boy now).

I don't mind some road wear and by the time I get 100,000 miles I am sure there will be scratches and dings. I would much rather be in "my car" than any rental.

Drive on!
