I am contemplating upgrading the steering wheel for my 2004 S55 but my wooden trim is black in colour, not Piano Black like the new S63/S65's as it still has the wood grain effect, but its not the usual mahogany, beech, oak colour either. Will try and find a picture for you. But im also in 2 minds wether to have any wood on it at all or not, just the black leather as in the above pictures which will match the seats. hhhhmmmmm.
Any prices on both variations please? I am over in the UK so would need it shipped here?
And do you supply fitting instructions as id rather not have the airbag go off in my face.

Nice looking S Class, but notice the centre console is a very different style to the normal S Class. I have to say I much prefer this to the standard which Im not very keen on.

Just installed my wood steering wheel with the converted S63 paddle shifter today, and it feels awesome!
This wood steering wheel provides a much more padded feel and a better grip than the leather one which makes the car seem smaller, lighter and sportier.
