Same here
+1 a big S class moving out on 10second cars on the Highway is winning
Nothing against others, but keeping your car in stock trim as shown will make it so unassuming. The upgraded turbos should make it an all out destroyer on the highway. I can't wait to hear your feed back and see what kind of power you net. You are sure to make others say "WTF was that???"

Listen, a 10.79 will not be out of the question with the upgrades you are getting. I was able to get lucky with a real decent launch to help pick up that nice time slip with nothing more than a ECU/TCU and HE and some cool weather. You will have alot more power, but it's always a matter of putting the power down. If you haven't already considered a LSD, you really should. I have since added one and it made the car a beast on the streets. Now I gotta make some time and put my downpipes on already, not everyone has bigger turbos to look forward to. lol

And a 10.79 with only those mods means you are a better driver than I...

Nice you will like the LSD, but realize the car will get sideways in a blink as you dip into boost. You will find the sweet spot where there is a huge gain on traction....Better driver, maybe not, just willing to get the drag radials REAL hot and "two feet it" up to 2500+RPMs until the brakes can't hold anymore, then right into full pedal at launch. As you already know though the S has a few pounds on the CL.

I think the V12s are the same throughout with manual mode where it will automatically shift at redline. I would put the car in dyno mode for the day after arriving at the track. I would do the burnout in manual mode. Then when staging be sure to click back down to 1M since it will end up shifting during the burnout. Just leave it in manual and let it shift on its own. The few times I took it out of manual, I had issues with it shifting. I found manual mode to work the best, without any shifting hiccups. The hardest part was trying to get both tires to stick with the stock open rear. It was obvious it one didn't spin enough or get enough heat. It would result in spinning off the line and then I would just abort the run and granny drive the rest of the 1/4. I can't see having any issues with the LSD, I just haven't been back.

Just like Race Horse said it leave the car in dyno the entire day. When you burnout and car hits rev limiter it will automatically go into N and you will have to turn it off and back on to get out of N shifting alone will not help.

Since the car is nearing completion. Waiting for turbo's to get finished, we will start posting pics daily. We will start with old pictures and catch up. So here is some dis-assembly pics from a month or so ago. All we have to say is "this is a fresh engine". Its a low mileage motor and it is visible.
Clean under-body as-well!!!
The s sits in the air without its heart
Got to love the way v12's look!

This is pretty cool seeing the "S" getting some nice performance upgrades, and anywhere in the 10's is awesome. How much does an 12 cylinder, S class weigh?
On another note, I just did the LSD, and I look forward to going to the track soon to see if how much I can improve the 60'?

Quick question the pic with the S65 on the lift, is that a car with BBS wheels in the background?

Can't wait to see what it makes especially can't wait to see what the difference is between a fully modded 600 vs 65 is with just the difference being .5 Liter. I think you should hit 700. My 65 with the same mods but no meth, 200 cell cats and stock turbos made 660. What are the upgraded inpellers worth-about 50rwhp? Most importantly, I hope you trap 130
