Strip or no Strip, that's the question.

Strip or no Strip, that's the question.
So For kicks and giggles I took a few minutes and priced out all the "large" parts for a W220 S55. So here is what I found. The car as a whole perfect running car is worth about 13/14K at best. Now if I took the time and stripped it down and sold the parts I could at LEAST double that value.
Seems so wrong considering I really do love my S55 but I need a V12TT.
Has anyone out there ever tried or considered something like this?
