ABC to Coil Spring Conversion
Has anyone here done this or explored it? Here is the link I found (http://www.1aauto.com/mercedes-benz-...2/i/arsrc00011) and the European link actually has the parts lined up for the AMG version.

Theres a company over there (USA) who does this conversion kit aswell, google Strutmasters.
I too thought about this, but apparently theres no real data on how the car will handle and behave on the coil springs. Something to do with the lack of anti-rill bars etc.

I think the conversion works well on the svelt E55 but with our heavy cars, the ABC sure is a bonus, if you can keep up with the maintenance.

I wondered if the lowering links still work with the struts. I wouldnt want stock ride hight. A lot of peolple are doing it but seriously, there is nothing like a properly working ABC on our big cars. I have been lucky I guess and never had much problems with mine...
