S55 and CL55 AMG rear strut mount bushes.
Hello all
2004 S55 AMG. OE strut part numbers - A2203201738 and A2203201838.
Car went in for some work and it was found that the bottom mount bushes for both the rear struts were completely worn.
More shockingly is the fact that these are not available separate from Merc dealers, full strut only, meaning a potential $5000 bill for 2 worn bushes
Is there any other replacement parts, after market parts or any other way of making these bushes as i think its really bad to have to buy the whole strut for the sake of a bush.
Any suggestions?

Is there any possibility that the bushing is a shared part with the standard S-class and can be interchanged with an Airmatic cars bushings? Maybe some possibilities to get a win here..

Iv got the measurements of this bush, was trying to see if any other car (any manufacturer, any model) takes the same size, even if its 1 or 2mm bigger.
Im hoping theres a way around this. Iv asked Arnott Industries but no reply as of yet.
