Hey guys
I just purchased an S55 AMG. It sometimes loses power after 3-4 runs and feels like it should be stronger. What can it possibly be
Sorry guys I just had to ! But am super excited about my S55. Complete leather stitched dash, rear side shades, rear shade, rear seat controls, distronic, rear climate control, dynamic seats, key-less go, just missing alcantara. Pics soon !

LOL yeah it did!! The S55 is such a awesome car tho! You look at it like "this car is so sexy", you get in it & are wrapped in leather luxury, you start it & feel/ hear the growl of the v8(with a slight SC whine), stomp on the gas & the seats grab you to lessen the force of 500 lbs of torque gnawing at the asphalt below you, leaving you with a sense of excitement & wanting more. All of this coming from a car with 4 doors & room for 5 adults?!?!? Hell yeah he's doing 3 to 4 pulls while driving it LOL!

I too am having the same problem, had the Bosch IC replaced with a Johnsons one about 18 months ago. Do they fail that quick, and is there a way to test them? Like crossing wires etc etc?
Thanks

These systems shut down the supercharger when it senses temps getting too high. That's why you "lose power" then after a few seconds (when the coolant has had time to make it around the circuit and cool things off) the supercharger comes back on. And so off and on again it goes. Doing what I've suggested in the first paragraph gets the coolant moving faster around the circuit so temps never get too high and the supercharger is always active. Make sense?
