14E63Wagon

Hello all, new here but have been a long time lurker and MB owner.

I am currently looking at an '09 S63 with 86k miles for a new (to me) dd and only drive about 7k miles a year typically to the airport and back. There has been some paintwork on driver's fender and both doors due to a prior accident ... fortunately I do have the accident report and was insignificant from a structural standpoint.

Are there any specific service items or components I should be concerned about that should have been done by now or that may come due for replacement soon given the mileage? Primarily asking from a cost of ownership standpoint ...

Unfortunately, I don't have any pics available ... will try to post soon but will be out all week traveling.

Any advice / feedback would be most appreciated!!

For the record: I came within inches of buying a E63 wagon but went the GL route instead ... don't know how to change my screen-name or if its even possible.

if you don't want to bury yourself in a self-dug hole, get a warranty for the car and you will be good to go.

lol, try getting warranty pricing on a 6 year old AMG S-class with 86k miles.

Honestly, pay more money for a better car.
