2006 S65 AMG

Had this monster for 2 years. Really awesome .my rotors need to be replaced soon. Both front and rear. They are not cheap . Any input input on good aftermarket rotors that would be compatible with S65. Thanks

W220 S65 AMG

The Mothership

At the dealer or your indy

I would go with OEM AMG pads - rotors - sensors

I have been looking at the same car and one

thing I check on everyone is to see if they

have done the brakes with OEM AMG parts

I firmly believe that owning a S65 AMG

means that you don't do things cheap

you do it right

It is not an S420

And this also covers the S600

The S600 should be done with OEM AMG brake parts

As always - It is your car

so do what you want

Don't listen to me

Thank-You
D.B.

Go to Parts.com for great OEM prices. That's where I got my rotors & pads for my 2006 CL65. Less than the dealer but still not cheap.

But definitely stay with OEM. It's not possible to overstate how important that is.

OP, not sure if you've moved on this yet, but take a look at Racing Brake if you can. Cheaper and better than OEM rotors, can't go wrong there. If you can save money, and also get better, lighter rotors, I would do that. They even make a ceramic brake upgrade that drops 46 pounds and lasts a few hundred thousand miles if you have 9900 sitting around :p
