Just ran my 2012 S63 at the track

1st run - 13.36
2nd run - 12.74
3rd run - 13.12

I had ESP off and in Manual mode, did a light burn out and used the "brake boost" method to launch. Those numbers seem a bit high for what the "book times" suggested. Keep in mind my car has the P30 performance package. I know the vehicle weighs as much as a boat and I'm in love with the power as it is, just wondering what I can do the next time around to possibly get lower times.

6P.M. is a warm part of the day

I agree that starting in manual mode

with brake boosting will delay throttle response

Interested to see your times in sport mode

Please keep this thread updated with future

mods and the faster times you achieve

Thank-You
D.B.

The 13.3 run was approx. 110 mph. The 12.7 was approx 113 mph and the 13.1 surprisingly 114 mph. The first two runs were in manual mode. The last run was in sports mode not utilizing the paddle shifters.

What kind of tires are you running? And what kind of condition are they in? These cars struggle for grip with the massive, instant torque these motors make. Were you getting a lot of wheel-spin?

Surprisingly there wasn't too much wheel spin. I'm running continental sport contact 2's with about 80% life left. Before each run I made sure to do a little burn out to warm up the tires.

Get a tune either by AMS or Eurocharged. If I had $11999.99 to burn I'd do the AMS Alpha 9 upgrade
