when I am driving my S430 and I go over a bump I get a knocking noise coming from the Rear Passanger side like a heavy rock is in the Trunk that is the best way to describe it, I replace a damage upper control arm one of them was damage, and I still get the same noise, even when I drive over a pot hole I feel like the rear of car slides?

Any help will be appreciated.

Put your back on jackstands and see if you can lift the subframe....if so you need to replace the subframe mounts.... i have the same issue right now and am waiting for the mounts so i can do them....good luck with it

Not sure...have never done one... i found a writeup about it though....doesnt look too difficult
