Thinking of buying 06 S65 amg with high miles

What's up guys I was interested in a S65 and I've came across one but very high miles for 13,000$ the car had no lights on the dash suspension is good but it has 140,000 miles that's a lot I don't want to buy it and then it breaks down right away just wanted to see someone elses look as too if they were in my situation.

Is there a question here?

Will there likely be very expensive repairs? yes.

Should you get a PPI? Yes

Then this isn't the car for you.

I bought my CL 600 and within the first week a heater hose blew, now within a month the drivers door soft close stopped working. Mine is an '03 with 82K miles on it.

I bought it knowing that the maintenance is an issue and that's why they get cheap with age, but i'm a master tech so I fix it myself and it's not that bad cost wise. If I had to take the car to the dealer for these two issues i'd be out almost 20% of the purchase price of my car already.

If you are not mechanically inclined I would advise you to pick another car.

I wouldn't do it if I were you...10 year old S class car...you are gonna probly pay more in repairs than what the car is worth. Just my $ .02

im selling my 06 s65, not for 14k but its mint

Im second owner, i bought it from my uncle. 66k miles recently serviced and bought brand new amg wheels and brakes 2k miles ago. You shouldn't need anything other than tires and oil for the next 5 years. Also willing to trade for sl65 or cl65 or possibly 600's
