2005 S55 ABC Drive Carefully
Pulled out of a parking lot, I heard a loud bang and I stopped. Lots of fluid came out of left front side of car and ABC Drive Carefully Light came on on dash.
Not sure what's damaged, but I know its not good and its gonna be expensive. This happened about a week ago and I limped the car home (5 min away).
The car is still up on all four corners, I thought it would have dropped by now, but still up.
Any ideas ?
Thanks,

You've probably burst a flexible hose on the pump outlet and emptied the ABC reservoir (different to the steering reservoir) all over the road. This risks damaging the ABC tandem pump.
The corners will be holding up because the system detected loss of pressure and shut everything down. The valve blocks for each corner will have closed, isolating the struts from the (empty) circulating system.
You will need to find which pipe has failed and replace it (or get someone to do it for you). Its not THAT expensive. If you drive your car, you will probably trash the pump, and that IS expensive. Be very careful.
Be careful who's opinion you heed - most mechanics get all this wrong.
Don't let anyone work on your car who hasn't done this sort of repair before.
Don't try to change the ride level.
Don't drive the car any more.
There's lots of advice in this thread.

Thanks for the info. I called a mechanic and over the phone they started quoting me prices for Struts.
Like you said; got to find someone who fully understands the system.
Thanks again.

Just an update.
Mechanic replaced two lines and fluid; pump was OK. Drove car for a couple of days and noticed the left rear dropped after being parked for about 2 hours. Left rear came back up once the car was started and was in gear. Car is back in the shop to replace the left rear strut $$$.
While the car was in the shop, I had them check on sweating on the rear diff.... Now that's turned into replacing seals and bearings for diff $$$$.
