Parting ways with my 2010 S63...
Hi everyone,
I want to thank everyone in this community for all the help throughout the past year. I recently traded in my 2010 S63 in favor of a 2015 X5M so I won't be lurking around for a while... My car was reaching the high miles club with 76K and it dawned on my that once I pass 90-100K which was steadily approaching, it will loos a ton of value. I got pretty much auction value at trade in which I thought was fair and am getting a refund from MB for the 2 year CPO i purchased. All in all it was a fantastic car but the constant nagging issues and frequent visits to the dealer who didn't know or didn't want to fix anything really started to get to me. It seems that a CPO doesn't mean the dealer actually will fix anything unless it is a catastrophic failure, i.e., total failure of a part to the point the car just won't drive. This approach really scared me as by doing so, other parts may wear out in the process so it's a domino effect. In any case, I intend to return with a later model S63 eventually. Miss the incredible comfort and style these cars offer!

I had a bunch of nagging problems that the dealer didn't want to/feel like fixing. I always felt like they were just waiting for a catastrophic failure to happen and then they would have no choice but to work on the car. In my mind, by the time this happens, other parts may be impacted, sort of like a domino effect... I had the extended warranty CPO mind you, and I still felt they didn't give a sh**. Anyways, the X5M is phenomenal..
