Soylent Green

Hey fellas, So I am driving my 05" S55 when I get a message that says to add one liter oil at the next service station. Ten miles later I arrive at my destination and let the car sit for 30 min and check the level on the dipstick. It is just below the max fill line. I would say about 5mm below the max line. I looked in the Star Service dvd that I got with the car and it states the oil should be between 109mm and 111 mm. So my question is from what point on the dipstick should I measure to 109mm-111mm?
