Had this when I first got the car and dealer swapped actuators side to side and it went away.

Issue is back again.

When I shut car off, and turn back on, message is gone and light works again?

Any ideas?

I see TSBs for this for 2003 and 2004 S55s but not 2005. Is it possible it's the same thing?

My 2002 S55 had the same issue years ago. I ended up replacing the actuator twice. The first time I replaced it I did not seat it properly and it failed. Bought a new one and replaced it again, very carefully. My Dad still drives the car years later with no issues.
