Performance S55 Questions/ Advice - New guy
SO I've had my 2006 S55 for a few years, and I've been thinking of doing some upgrades. Im a decent mechanic and I could tackle swapping anything myself, but I'm wondering what is the best solution to get some extra ponies from the engine without going overboard from the factory supercharger.
I understand the I/C pump is a weak point and should be replaced, as part of any upgrade, as I've had even with stock, the supercharger has gotten heat soaked with some spirited driving and performance drop.
Cheers - appreciate any insight

Change your pulley over from stock to ASP or from Eurocharged, this is more for maintenance than power.
check out Eurocharged, they have larger injectors, larger throttle bodies, smaller supercharger pulleys, etc, etc.............
Hope you find what you are looking for.

Start with headers and exhaust upgrade. This will definitely help the engine to relax under load and you can gain upto 40hp based on decent headers and decat upgrade. TCU upgrade is pretty effective and recommended. Than smaller pulley and tune will make you pretty happy It's better to get some K&N filters, NGK spark plugs and check spark plug cables and ignition coils. It's good to change supercharger oil with specific supercharger oil and engine oil with 10-60 Mobil.
