2003 S55 Coilover Spring Conversion Thanks in Advance
I have a s55 and do not know the history, I brought the car for around 5k it has 135k runs and drives great. I knew about the abc problem hence the error message. The car was a little low in the rear but now the driver side is down and the passenger side looks normal. I know it wont ride or handle the same but every component seems to have 135k and is 13 years old. I just want to switch it over and not be dependent on hydrolic components if the engine fails fine tranny fine but I do not want to stranded because of a leak.
Here is some questions:
1. What kind of pump and brackets? ( s500 s430?)
2. The power steering line banjo to the flare fitting? (Tandem uses a banjo the single pump a flare fitting and nut)
3. The return line?
Funny thing there is a salvage yard that has 2 sets of the coilover conversions I did not check them out yet. One blown motor One accident.
