I need help

I was driving on the highway, cruise control set about at 75-80 and the ABS light came on. It made the speedometer drop to zero. As I was about to pull away from the exit, the car was hesitant to take off. Thanks in advance

How is it running now?. Is the car back to normal .? A problem like this, could be a number of things . Like just a bad fuse ,fuel ,or bad earth point . This fault will be in the memory .Then if it goes again Star check is the best way to go .

The car runs just fine until the abs light comes on and then that's when it happens

When it comes on, if you stop the car and restart it, it works perfectly

How are your brakes? I ask because the car seems to be acting like it's sensing a safety issue. But I agree, STAR will pick it up.

Diagnostics computer. Best to take it to an independent mercedes mechanic/specialist they can look it up on star diagnostics and tell you what you are dealing with.

Sounds like it could be something as simple as a wheels speed sensor.

a faulty wheel bearing and cause the speed sensor to pick up a wrong signal
