My 2008 cost about $12k to fix in the first 2 years. I got a 2012 S63 and it's been pretty much flawless. They gave me $26k for my 2008 when I traded it in on a $78500 2012. I LOVE my car like people love their kids :o). Good luck and be sure to have A LOT OF MONEY in the bank to fix this car if you have no warranty.
These are not cars for the faint of heart of with little money in the bank to fix stuff.

head bolts are something to consider on earlier 63 models (07-mid 2011). the deadbolts are known to break due to corrosion etc. It could be something that was fixed or not, I would ask owner or see service records if it was replaced in the past. If not, it could be done at any indy shop for $3500-$4000. Good for peace of mind. Its not something that happens to *everyone* but theres know way of knowing if it will happen or not.
I would guess a 55k mile s63 of that year would be in the low to mid 30s.
