I just checked with Carchex and they said they don't offer any plans for my vehicle. He said they don't cover AMG vehicles in my state. Does anyone know where I can find coverage for an 06 S65 with about 78K miles on it in Texas?

I too, just bought a 2006 S65 AMG, I'm in Ft. Worth, TX. I bought a "Comprehensive" extended warranty from my insurance company, USAA, for $3,700. It does not cover anything cosmetic, and doesn't cover belts, rubber hoses, air bags, brake rotors, or catalytic converters (to name the significant things I can recall that are excluded), but covers virtually everything else on the car. Go to USAA.com.




Where in Texas are you? There are only 427 of us with a 2006 S65 (thus my login!) so we need to band together.

I'm Vidor, TX (near Beaumont). I thought you had to have a member of the family as a service member to get anything through USAA?

There are some products USAA will sell to anyone. Contact them and see. It's called Extended Vehicle Protection.

I don't qualify to be a member of USAA and that product is exclusively for members.
