Help before buying
Hey guys, new to the forum, had a post way back when i traded in my 14' cls 63 for a 15' s63 sedan. Now back into a cls63, had some trouble with the s63.
Here in Canada, finding an s63 coupe is rare without an order. I was lucky enough to find one my dealer was willing to go get, but i wanted the forums opinion on the color and decision im about to make.
The color of the coupe is obsidian black, just different from the diamond white im so used to. Only problem with black is swirls scratches dirt and less definitive lines. However a part of me thinks that white for rather large car could be a little too much?
Thanks for your opinions

+1. Of course it is personal preference, but I think obsidian is a great color. I think the metallic flake (in obsidian) adds a complexity that the 040 black lacks and conveys a sense of quality.
Search this forum and you'll find people in both camps, but I think obsidian hides swirls and other imperfections better than the flat black. But beware, it is a black car and visible swirls/scratches are part of the territory, no matter how meticulous you are in caring for it.
That said, I think you'll be pleased with black generally as it is a color that truly reveals the best in the design of the car. If that doesn't work for you, just know that no one can see swirls if you're driving fast (or faster than them).
