and...
This could be be a pretty hot little car with the right wheels...I like these and the lights are done.

You could ask a resident mbworld photoshop expert to photoshop in a few different wheel choices before selecting a set.
I am curious what this look in wheels from ebay would look like on your car:
*from ebay item 330243843902. These are not a 7.5 which I'd prefer and wait for.

88-300CE TWIN TURBO, 99-C43, 05-G55K, 71-280SL, 94-E320 CAB, 08 CLK63 BLACK SERIES
Let's see how good my high school German from forty years ago is.....
The picture is of the 320PS which was priced at 160000 marks, if I recall the exchange rate around $100K.
"It is with 24 valves and twin turbos
The famous tuning firm, Boschert presents at the Geneva Auto Show the Boschert B300 sport coupe based on the Mercedes 300CE.
Behind the SL front grille is a six cylinder motor with 24 valves and twin turbos, the loud Boschert 320PS makes 6500 RPM.
The B300 sport will be available in June."

"88 300CE- First Year Production
I don't like it but cool. How are the rear seats in that thing? I bet only small kids can sit back there huh? It's already crammed in the rear of a regular CE as it is. And did this company shrink anything else in the interior?

Haha look a little closer man. His door lines go all the way down into the cladding unlike the gullwing style. The profile shots look pretty different. Looks pretty clean and definitely rare. Good find.
Im not a huge fan of the SL front but the rear bumper and tips look NICE.

Yes, some fresh photos please. See if you can get a nice day and the sun behind you!!
Really hot "little" car there, can you describe the ride characteristics? Can you contrast the Boschert mods w a stock car (Please, no need to describe the rocketship/power detail - I may hang myself out of envy)
While I am not in the market, post more details if you want to sell...maybe in the "classifieds"
https://mbworld.org/forums/mercedes-vehicles-96/
Location, miles, asking price, etc are always useful for browsers

I like the C124's because they are long body coupes, i have never heard of Boschert before but so far they are my least favorite benz "tuner", they kind of ruined the lines of the coupe
Anyway the fact that it is so rare and you like it makes it a good buy ,hope you have fun with it, your son looks happy

Wow, that's alot of cutting (50CM = 20"). Looks like 10" behind the door and 10" behind the C pillar (best feature of the CE). Rear seats are likely gone or for kids. Proportions look unbalanced to me. It's really not a CE anymore with that much change to the original design. It appears they manufactured new side windows as you can't cut safety glass. Definitely a "rare" car...
