That C's been lowered... There's NO way those 20's would look like that on a stock C... Rim, wise they're actually not that bad. The lip is a little aggressive, but if you're after that look, then you've found your wheels...

I'm amazed they got that much lip out of the wonky offsets on the w204 ... guessing there's no chance of a BBK with those.

On the other hand, when you see rims that fit like a glove, your vehicle either fell exactly to within the specs available from the wheel manufacturer or they have been custom built / ordered (one of, or from a very low volume production) for that exact application. Naturally, you pay more for these rims, and quite often have to wait weeks for them, but the end result looks perfect. It's an option very few actually go with due to budget and time restraints, but it usually does yield the best resulting setups.
I also want to note - It's not so much the diameter of the wheel that determines whether nor not the wheel will stay tucked under the body, but rather the wheels off set or aka back spacing. You can have 16's, 18's, or even 19's stick out just as far if not further than 20's if you wanted too. Most diameter rims can in fact be kept within the fender walls, but it's when you want a huge lip, or radical offset (for wider tires) that these limitations are broken. The style of rim also plays a huge role on what you can and can't do. Sometimes you'll have two numerically (on paper) identical wheels, but due to different design elements, one may stick out past the fender, while the other doesn't.
With the rims pictures, they may have been built specifically for the new C-Class, or it could have just been pot luck that they fit like a glove out of the box. It's a valid question worth asking.

I like the rims. Looks clean. I agree with some others that the rear wheels might look a little aggressive, for a sedan/classy car. IMO I think the deep rims look best on sports cars.

Here's the take on those wheels you see... The majority of the wheels offered to the general public whether it be online or at a shop, are usually machined for the most common applications (mass manufactured). These "common" figures are generally good for most everyone, but sometimes one specific vehicle or application is outside or falls between what is offered. According to the listing, EXE makes vehicle-specific wheels. IMO, that's the only way to go when buying wheels. That's why I had Abt wheels on my Passat. No hubcentric rings, no spacers and all OE hardware to install them.

Those look pretty damn sweet! I really like them. Maybe 19's would look alittle better have slightly less lip, but I think they're pretty hot!

i dont know, they look good but a little awkward at the same time. I think they might look a little out of sync with the rest of the car - maybe a tad to big for me.

wow, with our unusually high wheel offset I didn't think even a more modest deep dish wheel would fit.

Ask 'em how they got that setup. I called Bilstein headquarters today and they guy (who was unhappy that I called) said the shocks aren't available, or even in development yet. That is surprising since the car has been available for almost a year.
