Source for Lost fastener on electrical ground post cover
I clumsily lost one of the three fasteners that hold the cover over the ground post and windshield washer reservoir.
Does anyone have an idea where I can get one?
Thanks.

Need this info too!
Reviving this thread as I need the same and didn't see a response. I was jump starting my wife's GL550 with my 2015 S550 (don't ask!) and when putting the cover for the ground post back a couple of the black plastic twist fasteners went flying into the snow. There are 3 of these that hold it down. They are maybe an inch or more long , have a spade end that locks down the cover.
Did the OP ever find a source for these or does anyone else have an answer? I am sure if I go to the MB dealer they can look it up but was hoping to not have to go through that hassle. So far my internet searches haven't turned up anything but I have a feeling I have to find the right search terms to find the right part.
Thanks!

Nope, not quite it from the pictures I found. The one I am looking for has a tab at the top you use to twist it and lock the spade at the bottom in place. Will have to grab a picture of it and post it to see if anyone can identify it.
Thanks!

Confirm # with dealer parts, no images via google.

If it will help, the part number of the COVER that the fasteners are needed for is MB 2226801208. I have found this cover on some sites but haven't been able to connect that to the fasteners that hold it in place yet.
