Turning off LED headlights

How do you turn off the LED (not Intelligent) lights when the engine is off but radio is on?

Reason is I want to go to the drive in but I can't figure out how to turn off the top led strip of white lights when I turn on the radio.

I'm in Canada BTW.

I don't know about the C300, but my BMWs allow me to turn the radio on without turning on the rest of the car. You simply push the volume control. The radio stays on for 15 minutes. It took me about a year before I discovered the feature. I'll bet MB has something similar. Let us know if you find it.

Yes. It is the power button right below the volume knob.

When you turn your car off open the driver's door to turn it off completely then press the radio power button.

Gonna revive this old thread. Also going to a drive-in theater and was wondering if there was a way to turn/leave the heat/heated seats/radio on but have the headlights completely off or the option to turn the headlights completely off without shutting the car off?

I believe I can turn the car off, open the door and the headlights will turn off after like 10 seconds. I can turn the radio on with the "Power" button next to the knob but heated seats/heater will be off, any way to have those on?

are you saying if the car is running and you set the headlight switch to 0/off that lamps stay on?

Noob question but where is the headlight switch? If it's the knob on my left, there isn't an off switch.

Are you talking about the DRL Daytime Running Lights.
you can disable that in the car settings menu.

I played around with the light knob and I can't seem to turn the low-beams and DRL's off. I checked the car-settings menus and I can't find the option to turn it off.

The alternative I've found is, keep the light-knob to "Auto", turn the car off, open the door and press the "On" button for the screen. This allows the radio to be on but heater and heated seats are off. The lowbeams and taillights will be on for 10 or so seconds before they turn off though.

The car is from Canada/North America, if that makes a difference in settings.

Trying to find a way to have the engine running but have all of the lights off. That way I can turn on heater and heated seats, without being disruptive lol

Why don't you guys just use the rest feature after turning the car off? It'll continue to ventilate the heat even after the car has shut off. It's a good alternative to not being able to have the seat warmer on.

Hmm..how does the rest function work exactly? Just shut the car off and press the AC/Rest button?

Yeah, once you turn the car off, press the button downwards. From what other members have said, the car will continue to ventilate the heat (or cold air if you were using the AC) for about an hour.
