New product, headers for E550

We just came out with shorty headers for the M273 engine, they are stainless steal and direct bolt in with no modification. On sale for only $369

More HP. I havent had a chance to do an dyno pull since install to give factual numbers. But you can feel a difference from 5k rpm and above. And playing with cars we normally play with that have made a difference.

There wasnt much interest in long tubes for this engine also, with shorties they fit allot more applications then having to come out with 8 different pairs of long tubes.

lifetime warranty against defects.

shorties produce little to no sound difference and at 5k rpm (wot) don't produce same power gains as long tubes. AM i correct or nah?

you are correct , long tubes are better, But to find them for this application is rare, then you have to figure out what you are doing about cats. And the price difference isnt the same ball park.
These are an upgrade over the stock that do produce more power and for the price for more hp on a mercedes they are a bargain.

Yeah man you are right.

But with a tune and maybe an exhaust tweak.

For the price...got me thinking

honestly for the price to get more power out of a benz its a steal.
i do agree long tubes are better. But then you have the issue of cats, you have to replace the rest of the exhaust and time to install them is much more.

Yeah, it would definitely help your case if you had some real dyno results to post.
I can get "...more power..." out of an air cleaner replacement.

This is a typo correct? Do you have actual values on a graph? IF this is true, why isn't everyone running shorties across all engine plants if they do IN fact produce 14 hp? Just asking questions, not being condescending...

i'll ask the mfg for a copy of the graph. They did the dyno on them.

heard back from manufacturer, I have to apologize those numbers were from slk headers. They have not dyno's the 550 headers.

We have installed them on clk550 and there is a noticeable difference.

I just found out that Eurocharged is also a dealer for them, they install them for their customers who are looking for a more cost effective alternative to their headers.
