Question assistance needed, front shocks CLS63

Hello Gurus!
I bought a 2012 CLS63 from a dealer and the front was obviously lowered somehow (they didnt know how) in any case its WAY TOO LOOOOWWW

I scrape over everything even at high speed on normal road!...and the fender goes over the top of the tire!!
I need to raise it back to stock or at least 1 - 2inches..
and the ride seem extremely firm (softest setting)

soooo I am wondering if these are AMG stock or aftermarket?
if so.. what do the original springs look like? I would guess NOT yellow with a purple adjustment ring?

thanks for ANY hel you can give this newbee!

Those are coil overs you can raise them but you need the wrenches to do so.Did you find anything in your trunk? Unfortunately if you want it to ride like factory again your going to need to find some Oem springs some where. What about the back how low is it? It can be altered fairly easily as it is adjusted via links.

Those look to be K&W brand coilovers on the oem strut you may be able to find someone to trade you oem springs for them as they retail for $900

Thanks for the fast reply! and info.
I suspected as much, and I found no wrenches.. I may have to buy one but i dont know the brand of coil over looks like KW? (by colors)

is it as simple as swapping the springs???
can I leave the adjustable coil over portion?

the Back it seems to me at a "good" level as it is a bit higher than the front. where you can just see the top of the tire..
after jacking it up appears to be a red link? (picture) and is the only color piece

couple of odd things i noticed front tires are smaller than stock (shorter profile) rears are wider than stock. grrr

Yes those are K&W If you can get your hands on the wrenches you dont have to swap anything you can just raise the front some. If you are happy with the back just leave it be. Those are aftermarket links on the back. I just thought you wanted it back to the original height if not its a very easy fix. Just need coil over wrenches.

Yes I did want close to the original height butt more so I want the softer original ride so I'm wondering if I can replace the K&W Springs with the stock Springs and keep the adjustability of the coil over portion if that makes sense?

No you can not you either have to leave it like it is or completely remove those and put the oem springs back in. No way to retain the adjust-ability with oem springs installed.

Okay that makes sense I will raise a car up a little bit and put on the proper size tires will probably soften the ride a little bit anyway and see how that feels and go from there

Thanks for all the suggestions!
I have now raised the car about 1 inch using a large pair of Channel lock pliers
i think it looks better and the soon to be installed larger tires will fill in the new wheel gap nicly!!

so now that the front is stiffer with the KW springs, will that link i have in the rear make the rear suspention match ?
if not what are the effect of stiffer than stock front on a standard amg air sprung rear setup?

its really hard to show in the picture but it measures. 3 1/4F both measured from top edge of wheel to bottom edge of fender in centers

3/3/4 R

Should be fine like that but you really need to find the correct wrenches to adjust the coils. You dont want to risk scarring the threads on the sleeves and ruining them

yea I already scrapped up the adjusting rings pretty good but the threads and sleeves are good (you cant see the purple adjustment rings anyway)

I want to trade someone this whole system for their stock parts!
