05 E55 Mustang Dyno a Results

Hey guys, just wanted to share my experiance today. Had a chance to drive out to World Motorsports known with Craig paisley! What an amazing Dyno facility, real road conditions in a closed vacuumed room with wind in front of the car as speed increases to duplicate real conditions.
My car is a 2005 with 74k miles on it. My mods are: upper 84mm pulley- NO cooling mods- stock heat range plugs- S550 82mm throttle acuator with no adaptor plate, looks stock- MBH long tube headers with no cats going to X pipe with stock resonator and mufflers- 3k stall converter- rear wavetrac diff. No fueling mods other than new pump and filter.. Stock injectors. Kleemann ECU TCU software. Afr's dip down low towards the last fifteen hundred RPM's or so but not a big concern at the moment. So she made 524WHP and 576WTQ

You need cooling badly. You fall quickly at around 5200 rpm. You need to clean up the power curve

Hey Hulk. You don't think that due to the Afr's dropping in the 10's?

Afrs went rich because your iats must have been high and the ecu was trying to cool down the cylinders

524/576 is extremely impressive given your mods.

I have never seen your set-up before; "S550 82mm throttle actuator directly bolted with no adaptor".

Your engine bay looks brand new.

That is a beautiful car with an amazing set of mods.

I'm also running the 84mm/MBH combo and it never disappoints. Have recently walked two different cars running the 77mm/Kleemann setup from a roll.

How do you like the Wavetrac?

Yeah, whats the deal with the tb setup? Did you slot the holes on the TB? Looks clean.

Dvc, thank you! It runs amazing, our cars are pretty similar except the pulley. Love the wavetrac!!! It really plants the rear end and stabilizes things if that makes sense. As for the throttle housing at end of the supercharger, it was welded and taped so it looks stock and everything fits right on.

Agreed

I'd almost say your pump for the heat exchanger is not working either.

Have you run any logging during actual driving?

I knew my pump was dead when driving and heat climbed up to like 175 and just sat there even after a minute of normal driving afterward.

Bmwm3turbo, Of corse the wheels are spinning on the rollers!! Couple of pulls. That's where it's making peak Torqe where the cylinder pressures are at their highest.

Funktorn, the pump is working fine. Car is a cream puff, everything works like it should. We did a couple of pulls. Should have done a few so the ecu would adapt.

There's a lot of experts on here that I don't doubt, I wrote in my initial post.. There's no cooling mods, stock heat exchanger, and no fuel mods. I work on these cars for a living. Belive me, the car is in excellent mechanical codition.

like this my bmw back in the days when it still was a street car
(same setup on a hub dyno showed 900whp, so spinning tires makes it realy wrong)
im not a fan off dyno, its just good for delta on your own car nothing ellse

your car is realy clean, and im sure its healthy and strong

Bmwm3turbo, what an awesome car you got there! No, it wasn't doing that at all in terms of slipping or anything.. Besides I don't think it makes as much Torqe to do that like yours. Thanks for the compliment though, really appreciate it.

Something is clearly wrong with your creampuff. Makes peak power then nosedives around 5250 and your IATS shoot straight up around 5500. IATs over 225 on your chart. Looks like a high dollar dyno room, cant blame lack of air thats 4 sheer.

I need coolIng mods next. The intake temps are through the roof. Then I'm going to try a different facility to re run the car. Temps go up, ecu dumps fuel to cool it, high afr kills it towards the end.
