M157 wastegate

If I tighten the wastegate by 2 turns, will the boost hold 1 bar all the way to 6000 rpm?
Mods: tune, turbo(bridge) pipe, down pipe
Here is the boost log:

Interesting map. Tunes are supposed to hold 18-19psi all the way to redline, but that does not always happen

I think first thing to know if what max boost psi you’re ecu tune is set to start fuel cut, if you are already close to max then increasing the wastegate dump may just end up causing your ecu to cut fuel up top. If your ecu doesn’t cut fuel after increasing spring tension, then you could potentially over-spool the turbo or potentially over-boost the engine and send it into limp mode. Also this trick could give you only more hot charge air and less actual useful intake boost

I’ve done it on other cars before but just as a band-aid to recoup boost that I was loosing due to worn out spring

however, in our cars the boost pressure is controlled electropneumatically by the boost pressure actuator. To control the boost pressure, the boost pressure actuator is actuated by the ECU according to a performance map and according to load. ecu monitors pressure upstream and downstream of throttle valve so it will know that its getting more boost up top than its supposed to and will intervene

Also your log only shows 1 bar? stock S-models have 1.3 bar.... what tune are you running that only has 1 bar?
