Black on Silver Wheel Center Cap thoughts

I have been trying to find black center caps to fit my GTS wheels and have had no luck. Dealership ordered just one of the entire center cap and lug nut cover assembly for me to review, so thought I would see how it looks to break up the silver on the wheels. I can just use the cap & center star and keep the ring silver thought I would share some photos and get a few thoughts on how this looks or am I

I don't like that at all. Needs to be flush IMO

I would use flush silver lug cover with new style AMG caps.

Why replace forged oem with aftermarket? Not cost effective. (Although nice!)

My girlfriend who has an eye and I reviewed your center cap idea. We do not like it. Shes says not cohesive. I say it makes the spokes look weird and fragile. It looks like a tacked-on piece.

I think the effect you are looking for would be easy to get if you just get your local custom shop to put some black vinyl wrap directly in the mercedes emblem on the wheels. That would look much better and be quite cost effective, not to mention entirely reversible.

You can even get it in a carbon weave pattern for a little flair.
