Need help ASAP.
I recently had my conductor plate go out. I replaced it, but unfortunately I am still stuck in hard limp mode. Is there anyone in the Baltimore or Aberdeen Maryland area with a STAR diagnostic that could help a member out? Thanks very much.

How many miles and what were your original symptoms pre plate install...?
I just went through an epic battle to get a new to me e55 on the road. I bought car then bought a STAR. Get a star if you are gonna own the car more than a few months. You can do all sorts of good snapple with it!
I will say I played with the possibility of it being communication/valve body related issue for a while then just swapped the trans for a good used one.... and fingers crossed things have been well after 3 flushes.
This was my isolated case but I am pretty sure if you get your adaptation fill values posted, a few other senior members can help you remotely diagnose it.

It isn't the level because I checked it with my dipstick. Plus I ran the codes with my old reader and it popped up with no comms with valve body and bad speed sensor, etc. I had about 3 codes for the trans. So I swapped the plug, swapped the conductor plate, New fluid, and filter. All is well, just need the codes cleared to drive it normally. The only reason I asked if anyone had it was because it was Sunday and everyone was closed. Now that I am at work until wednesday, it doesn't really bother me that much, until then.
