I've recently noticed something strange about my '09. It is a black car, the data sheet says "black" and not "obsidian black". I don't see any metal flake on the car. Except, all 4 door handles have tiny little sparkles in them. I'm wondering if someone grabbed the wrong door handles during the assembly of my car?

Mine is that way too. 2010. I think it's to hide scratches?

Yeah, door handles are Obsidian - I was told to hide scratches also - which it doesn't do and looks like ****. My dealer offered to repaint them if it really bothered me that much. I wish I had taken them up on the offer.

Same here, I have a black 2010 with Obsidian handles. I thought mines were wrong too until I read this thread. Thanks guys👍🏼
