Thank you for supporting FCPEuro

It’s no secret that each month we provide our returning customers with Loyalty Rewards Codes to discount your order. We appreciate your business and it’s our way of saying thank you. I truly appreciate the Mercedes community and forums like these where we can share ideas, and help each other. On countless occasions I’ve turned to the forums for assistance and it has saved me a ton of time and money on personal projects. I’ve tried to give back to the community through various promo’s and introducing new features to the community such as OEMPARTSINDEX.COM and of course I tell anyone who will listen about our lifetime warranty and hassle free returns.

I’m saying all that to say this. We can do more for first time customers and especially the ones that are a part of our community. I’ve created a new promotional code on our website www.fcpeuro.com and you can use this code at checkout.

The code is MB500E and will discount any order over $49.

I urge you to use this code because I monitor its use and anyone who uses it will be included in my exclusive list of customers. This list will be the first to know when we are having an event, doing a promotion, looking for feedback etc. I want to be able to talk directly to you guys and I think this will be a great way to do so. Thank you for your support.

Thanks. I might use this to replace the trw pads you included in my 'brake kit' I purchased last month as I am not happy with them at all

Sounds like a plan. I'll email you postage in the morning so that you can send the pads back at your convenience for a credit. I'm sorry this one didn't work out, what pad are you thinking about trying this time?

Not sure as I have not had time to see what else you offer. Just want a good pad that doesn't squeal every time I touched the brake pedal like the trw does. I will review your site tomorrow.
Don't worry about the return, I assume the risk when trying an unknown pad.

Edit.... Just did a quick look...You guys don't offer anything other than trw or oem??

Squeeling from any modern day pad sounds strange. Are you sure you bedded them correctly?

It's a massive pain to do, but does make a difference in terms of transfer layer on your rotors.

Also, did you replace rotors as well? Or did you install on current rotors. The squeeling might not be the pad at all, but rather the two pad transfer layers not "playing" well at all. This'll be an issue regardless what pad you go with.

That being said, all you have to do is bed them a bit differently and the noise should start ti dissipate with mileage.

I personally think the bedding-in process is fun!

It was the kit, so yes rotors were brand new.

Squeals under light braking, like in town traffic coming to a stop.
Highway stopping or slow down equals no noise.
Yes pads were bedded correctly. My complaints on the TRW are the same as everyone else complaining about OEM. They squeal when coming to a stop. Exact same reason I swapped my half worn rear pads out for Porterfields a year ago.
Probably will do the same on the front. I was hoping FCPEURO carried Porterfields so we could do a swap

I've heard really good things about the RS-4's from them. I haven't run them personally. Did you purchase them manufacturer direct?

No. I purchased them from LPI racing.

Wish you guys would become a dealer for them. would be a nice option for your kits. They currently run in the same price range as your OEM pads

I'm too lazy to search, what would you recommend for a low dust brake pad, front and rear?

Thanks.

Based off what I saw last night, you are out of luck. Only OEM and TRW pads are on the website. The TRW's dust just like OEM

Darn. I was hoping the TRW pads were ceramic. I put a factory ceramic pad on my 2006 Corvette when it needed brakes and it really lowered the dusting.

I've got a bunch of great options for your E63. Maybe I can help, what are you looking for specifically?

I have just completed an order. Great price plus a modest forum discount coupled with the best international shipping quote I have had for a long time.

You will now be my first stop when looking for parts in the future.
