I just got my hands on a set of AMG Type III 2 piece wheels to replace the flea market ones on my W209. When I went to mount the first one I noticed the bolts that came off would barely poke through the wheel holes, so I take it they're aftermarket.

Is the stock bolt length 39mm? Is the seat suppose to be ball type? I run a quick search and couldn't find any concrete answers.

My W208 takes a standard 40mm lug with the dish head (or however you describe it). These were needed when I went from a 19" back to my standard AMG 17" rims. Pretty sure the W209 is the same. Pelican parts is a good reference


My aftermarket 19's took a much shorter lug.

The factory wheels will use a ball seat. Length is going to be wheel defendant, I can't help with the length of those very nice two piece wheels.

I'll just measure the ones I have tomorrow and see how long they are and how long they stick out and go from there.
