These work great! Only issue I had with them is the clearance to the center body support brace. I ended up doing a custom back half in 3" to the tips, with V band to the DP's and up and over the brace. I replaced mufflers with 18" resonators and AMG satin black powder coated tips. Saved a lot of weight and sounds so deep and powerful.

Very true...but its like if you go normal down pipe...then there's this bug which we all contract during our car ownership...its so deceptively evil that it warps our innocent minds...pssst if you went true turbo back...You...Would..have MORE POWAAA

and thus we lose and pay twice

problem is no proof exists yet, other then the bill you will get charged

my guess is, these are made on the E and from experience they do not always fit the CLS and changes have to be made...I know due to what I had to go through on my 55k.

They all tell you it will fit, but truth is they only test it on their test car

Yes yes yes yes!!! That is exactly what happened to me. I am currently in counseling seeking help cos I was not going to mod this car past a tune and I failed.

Because the 4Matic requires different engine mounts and dropping of the motor to install. Weistech is the only North American aftermarket supplier that offers this product for the 2014-2016 E63 and CLS63. The kit is $6000 not including installation. Don't bother unless you are replacing the turbos.

There is no proof the turbo backs make more power. But if you have ever seen the insides of the stock turboback manifolds you will know just how restrictive they seem.
On a RWD model the difference in cost is not significant enough to not take the chance
$1300 regular DP vs in this case $1700 turboback. Now I know install is significantly different in cost but even if were to put out 40rwhp vs the maybe 20rwhp from a regular catless DP, it would be worth it.
Now I gotta do the dyno and lets see what we can get

I don't doubt that they make slightly more power than the stock manifold, particularly in the very top of the RPM range. My guess would be more like 10 WHP. And I agree for the modest part and installation price difference on a RWD, you might as well go for it. On an AWD, forget it unless you are doing turbos.

Lets see some dyno numbers first. However the way the tuned M157s tank on the top end (anything above 5300rpm) in HP, I think even if peak is "only" 20-40rwhp, where we will see the biggest change will be closer to 6000rpm where there could be as much as 60rwhp (still does not increase peak power by much)

Yes I am simply speculating based on my finely calibrated seat dyno

Great product and great price! Same ones I have on my car. Here is what they sound like freshly installed with OEM mufflers in place:

Thanks for the fast shipping of the air box spacer. I do not see the down pipes on your website. Can you tell me more about them? Feel free to PM or email me. Thanks.

on dyno and tested on a catless downpipe car

added these parts showed gains of 30wtq on low to midrange RPM
and about 10whp also on low to mid range RPM,

no extra gains were on higher RPM

and noise becomes less while turbo whistles spooling becomes louder
