If the battery has a good charge, you can connect a DAS Xentry and manually activate the pump and air spring solenoids even with the engine off. That feature is used whenever the air bags are replaced or the suspension calibrated.

Without the diagnostic system, you're looking at a long, hard slog.

It is required if you expect to work on any Mercedes with a distributed micro-controller system operating over a CANBUS. If none of the above makes sense, start teaching yourself.

Search on "DAS Xentry Mercedes".

Start here for 42 pages of tips:
https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ts-o-pics.html

Assuming you can locate access or obtain a DAS, you'll need to go to "Control Units", "Chassis", "Airmatic" and follow the instructions to inflate the air springs.

This place is a joke.
You can jack up the front and place a small piece of 2x4 wood between the upper control arm and unibody on each side. The rear, not much can be done.
