W204 Tune Group Buy!
Hello all!
I have spoken with Rocco from OE tuning and Philip from Eurocharged tuning about a W204 tune group buy, and I have have been incredibly pleased with their professionalism. They have both offered discounts regarding a group buy for their respective tunes.
I want to preface this post by acknowledging that both companies seem to provide great tunes and great customer support. I have read about many great experiences with both tuners and many happy customers. I believe that there is no losing here, and there is a positive outcome regarding everyone involved.
Now to the details for (2008-2011 C300, C350, C63):
OE has officially offered their group buy pricing at $300 for tune and $200 for handheld flasher, so $500 total. I am not sure if the price is $300 if you ship in your ECU. They would like 10 people in a group buy for this pricing.
OE offers 4 maps with the tune, a 91/93 octane tune map, a stock map, a valet map, and a 100 octane race map.
OE also offers the C63 tune for $995 as a part of the group buy.
Eurocharged has told me that they are offering their tune for $450, and that includes a handheld flasher as well. They also offer the tune for $300 if you send them your ECU. They require 8-10 people in a group buy.
Eurocharged offers 4 maps as well, 91/93 octane tune map, a stock map, a valet map(if requested) and a 100 octane race map.
They are also selling their C63 tune for $730 for tune and handheld flasher, and $500 if you send in your ecu. This is group buy pricing only.
Eurocharged offers a warranty, but these tunes both seem to be very safe.

I am down for either, and I'll obviously go with whatever the majority decide on. But my current vote is for Eurocharged and I have set up a poll for voting.

Rod,
It appears this only covers the preface lift models. I have a 15 C350. The tune is 695 on their site so it's probably not covered. Also would this void my warranty? If not and they can do the $500 sign me up

With the pricing and rep I would lean more towards Eurocharged. From the things I have found on the site, a C300 owner would be expecting about an 18hp increase.

If you have to ask, then you're probably not mentally ready for the mod. But in general, ALL tunes will void your warranty. This is why it is a good idea to flash your ECU back to stock if you are going to the dealer for any service. This is of course assuming you are even still under warranty depending how old your car is.

If you are concerned about warranty and dealer service you can always remove the tune and have it re-installed again after the dealer visit.

I'd be interested in mailing in my ECU for the $300 price. If that's possible, count me in for either tune. I've read great things about both companies.

Thanks for the effort on this Rodpwnz. I just got back from a weeks vacation in South FL so I'll get back on this as soon as we are settled in. Looks like a nice interest we have going.

I believe so, but at a different rate than the 2008-2011 w204's. Please refer to the original post and contact the tuners for more details.
